Let me first say that I am in love with this time of year. Southern California is typically brown- there is a price to pay for all of that sunshine. Dead plants and dirt are the main landscape that poke out between buildings... except for this time of year. Winter rains bring green grass and wildflowers. To celebrate, my cousin, stacie and her boyfriend asked me to do a mini photoshoot with them.
We found the perfect spot just off an exit ramp at Camp Pendleton and shot a few photos using the yellow flowers that had grown all over in the last few weeks.
i LOVE the yellow flowers, everytime i see them on the side of the freeway i just want to stop and take pics! ;) but i always see no tresspassing signs....you'll have to give me your secret as to where to find some cool spots like this! great job!
Melissa- I ignore the "No Trespassing" signs and ask my clients to do the same ;) Actually, these were taken just as you drive off the Las Pulgas freeway exit, literally the side of the road, so we weren't trespassing!

I love how you can pick such a random and small area right off the freeway and make it look like they are in the middle of the country off a small road. Great job Nicole!
